Hi i have just installed new TJM gold suspension on my d22 2011 navara, just took it to birdsville and through flinders ranges etc. It make huge clunking sounds when i am doing low range work even sometimes when i am just driving normally and hitting bumps. Has anyone experienced this or can anyone help me. TJM reckon the front is hitting the wish bones and the might need to use EFS in the front, but as i told the it 's coming from the back as well. You would not think that new suspension should sound like a bloody tractor.

could be the rear spring clamps catching and rubbing on spring leafs mine did it for a while but eventually wore in

They are probably right about hitting the control arm. It's quite standard practice to file or grind some meet off of the control arm to clear the larger diameter of the new shocks. During up or down travel they will clip the control arm.

Have a search there is plenty of info on what to do.

Put your head in the wheel arch and look straight down, you will probably see that the tie rod nut is catching on a piece of plate that is sticking out from the lower control arm assembly......... I had the same problem after my 2011 was lifted, grinded the plate back and put a weld along it and hasn't happened since.......... It only catches on a few mm but makes a very sharp metal on metal sound

Its interesting your tie rods are catching on the lower arm assembly. Just fitted mine last wknd and my tie rod clears with about 3-4mm clearancs. Yes i will need to grind some off if i install aftermarket tie rods but atm im all clear.
