Lookin sweet man.
Keep up the great work.

Are you going to get flares made up for it?
I spose you cant drive the 42's on the road can you. Even so, the 35's would stick out like dogs balls so whats ther go there??

Stuary

35's wont stick out as far, these rims are full offset. but ive got a few things inmind for the guards, plus there will be brushbars/exo covering them.

Coilovers should fit under the bonnet, if anything there might be the top of the tube poking through.

The 14" coilovers should easily fit under the bonnet, you could have went with the 16" for sure.
cheers mark.

Holy crap man! that thing looks awesome joshy, credit to you man!

As far as your flares go, have you thought bout fibreglassing some, similiar to the standard ones, like they do for those trucks in iceland, itd look friggen mad! :crazy_pilot:

Nah they only just fit, id say the mount will stick out of the bonnet, trying to keep it as low was possible. But having said that im sure i could make the 16s fit.

Yeah theres some cheap ones in the states im thinking about. Otherwise i might just use the factory guards and mod them. The icelandic flares are over $1000 before you bring them over.

Are you fitting them to check with no pressure on them though? Are they charged ready to go? this makes a heap of difference.

cheers mark.

joshy is this thing going to be road legal with coil over's out the top of the bonnet

Should be no worries rolling the ball of judgement over the mounts, he'll be fine. (Can't remember ball diameter, can't be jeffed looking it up)

nah there not ready to go and the extent of my checking is just roughly holding it in place. nothin proper

should only be the top of the brace if anything sticks out. should be right...otherwise ill come up with some way to get it passed.

Got the flywheel ring gear at long last. Gearbox is in, just need to make the xmember.

Due to the size of the flywheel i had to leave the aluminium spacer on the gearbox...which pushed the gearbox back an inch.

Still needs to go slightly more to the passenger side...needs more panel beating

Still got the clearance tho

Where the gearbox is touching, also have to offset the dump pipe

Looking at this and the amount of mods you have had to do, i would have just made a adapter for the t-case for sure. hope its all going good bud.

cheers mark.

yeah i thought about it...but didnt want to risk the strength of the nav gearbox and have to do all this in 6 months time.
