Landcruiser Mountain Park - 26-28th April

Hey all,

Me and a group of mates are heading to LCMP this weekend, in about 1 hour.

If anyones out there, ping me on UHF11, camping at gum tree.

How did your trip go? has the rain effected them up there much? Ill bet the road up is still not fixed...

All in all the road out there was fine. Most track as the park had been graded in the last 6 months by the looks of things.

The crazy side of Telecom was crazier than i have ever seen it. Some kid in a new Ford Ranger tried it and missed a gear then lett he wheeel go.... rolled over a few times. Truck was gone by the time we got back to check it out, but bits of headlights etc all over the place. Kid was ok i am told bar from hand crashed between steering wheel and windscreen.

Changing gears on telecom hill is hot a very good idea.. last time I went up it with my rear locker on the rock chewed the lugs off my micky thompsons and the easy side had big holes in the track. all good fun. don't suppose insurance would cover the ford
