I'll go to either, even though the difference for me is $90 to $40 dollars for a 2 night stay I haven't been to LCMP yet so i'd like to check it out sometime. Its really up to the majority. If we are gonna vote can one of the mods make this a poll please. Oh yeah when i was talking to the janowen guys the other day, they let me know that its all in good nick and they just dozed a few of the easy tracks back to easy and the harder stuff is still tough for the brave. Don't know about LCMP but Janowens tracks aren't too rocky like say scenic rim so the risk of bashing stuff to the point of damage underneath isn't nearly as bad. Its mostly black soil so unless they have had rain its all pretty good. With good rain well you know what black soil is like lol.

Hi guys, I'm pretty sure I have the whole weekend off at this stage so I'm keen to come as well. Why note tally who hasn't been to either place and go to the one that most people haven't been to? I'll kick it off, I've been to LCMP a few times and love it, so I could guide people through some tracks? But I haven't been to Janowen.

Janowen is closer for me not that it matters. Plus its cheaper on the bank for me. Most of the money will be spent on the wife showing lol. I'm happy with either but I think janowen would be a nice place to go. I'm up for janowen mainly.

Ok, should we call it this trip for Janowen, next one for LCMP, all those in favour say AYE!. We are currently looking at getting a cheapie 5-6 man tent and setting the tarp up over it instead of dragging/setting up the camper trailer for a couple of nights.

Look I need to apoligise to Bryce , I never wanted to Hi-jack the LCMP thread just offer an alternative. I can go almost any weekend But with some notice I can keep out of the shit and take the missuss.

As it is I have to ring my specialist to see if he can change his appt he just made for me for the 25th. If not, I'll be taking a cruise back to Brisbane Saturday arvo to see him, but its a case of having to, otherwise its a 3 month wait to see him again.

So far its a yes for the wife and I. Heading to janowen sometime after lunch Friday. If you haven't palmed that compressor off ill still take it off you bryce. I'll bring the cash on that wknd

Lock me in as well. I am keen to get out somewhere other than the local tracks.
Just got back to the coast. Park is in great nick, and was nearly empty so we had a fantastic camp area all to ourselves. The creek was running nicely though not as deep as last time i was there, Had a great play around in the quarry also. Stuff i never had a chance of getting up before was a breeze with the lokka. LOVE IT. I didn't take many pics or vids except one doing a steep hill in the quarry playground. Why does every hill look small on video yet in reality is a monster? I look forward to hitting some harder tracks with you guys next month as both my brothers utes are stockers and can't really hit more then the medium tracks. Janowen works on a buddy system so you need to take a friend on every track.
