What's the campfire ruling? I have a heap of fire timber that I can bring along. It's old railway sleepers so it will burn for a long time.

You can collect it from the property, We normally grab it up from up behind the quarry playground (3 min drive from the camp area we use) but there is a heap sitting around. You can have anything on the ground but are not allowed to cut trees down of course. You just need someone to bring a chainsaw.

Nice looking place. Ok, creekside camping it is. Love the sound of water while I'm sleeping, lol. ( 'cept I keep waking up with a pissed in bed every morning, lol)

The Office is past the park by a couple of kms.. I hope this helps because I googled Janowen and it brings up the Office

Ahhh, I was hoping to leave by midday on Friday, but will now be leaving at 3.00pm after I pick up Megan from school. Can't get out of assignments due Friday, so we will leave a bit later.

Still get there in plenty of time before its dark, so all is good.

Looks like there will be plenty of rain this week easing off for the weekend :) shame i wont have new tires by then.

well drawn gonzo, good to have a bit of a map to follow.

I have spoken to janowen and there office/shop is closed on friday so everyone heading up then just go to the campsite and set up.

I should be heading out around lunch time friday ready for a full day of driving on sat.

depends on the time, i think it opens about 9 or 10. Also its worth noting that they don't have eftpos so cash is king.

Good stuff Gonzo was hoping someone would put up a map cause I dont really know where im going, is there so sort of sign where we need to turn off to the camp site?

Also heading out Friday lunch so if any one is keen to meet along the way name a time and place.

Planning on getting there between 7-8 in the morning. Might just come to the camp then head down later to pay the bill.$7.50 an adult is a fair good price. Yep I read the cash only part will be getting it sorted this week.

I am planning to leave at about 9.30 for a 3 hour drive. So I should be there around 1 if all goes to plan. I will be on UHF Channel 18 for the last hour or so of the drive..

For the Guys going up on Friday . It would be a good Idea to ring Janowen prior to departure because they do shut the place if it's to wet !

On a lighter note one of my mates is going to come up in his Hilux so we can hang shit on it!:rofl2:
