Rays Efforts. On 36psi almost dead AT/Road tyres he made it just over halfway up the hill. after many attempts the car had, had enough and just wanted to have a lean to catch its breathe back

Recovery Team is on IT

out of all that effort we came out without damage to any part of the car. YAY!!! successful recovery

Sunday came clean and we hit the mud pit/ play area we were told we could gain access to. IT WAS ONNNNNN 4WD donuts all round and we came out with a pretty dirty end result. we had a bit of a debate on who had the dirtiest car. Bryce collected the most on his sidesteps and in the tub but had a good collection all over, Brodie decided that the tub needed it caked on, on the tub sides. Me(RustyNav) got it everywhere along with everyone else. Mick on the other hand had to get out of the car and throw it at his STX to get it dirty :p jks, he made a good effort but the traction control ruined it for him(rip the fuse out next time) came out dirty but just not enough. overall winner was Bryce but you can decide

Looks like you guys had fun. I was out at Janowan way on Thursday in a new defence Mercedes Gwagon for a driver course. Was disapointed to have to turn around and head back due to too much rain. Was really looking forward to testing out the Gwagon, dual locked thumping v6 turbo diesel and an auto box to kill for. A very nice and capable rig. Not worth $160k though. lol.

First up a big THANK-YOU! to Russ for capturing in detail my poor Nav having a rest. I still reckon if I dropped the pressures to 18psi I would have made it,

Great pics, and Alena and I pissed ourselves laughing at Micks "clean" STX, it was great to see after Bryces, Brodies and Rustys efforts.

I'll start putting up the pics and vids tonight. Got some great ones of you guys on Saturday up in the little play area. Plus I'll even throw a couple up of the "Black Nav" trying the hill, and admitting defeat, :rambo:

We have gotta go back there!

WOOOT IVE HAD A WIN!!!!

recieved a local friendly call from Ray and i asked about video editing software. got a 170mb clip down t 1.6mb WOOHOOO and no quality loss BAM BAM they will be up once i get them all cut down, this may take a while

Freemake Video Converter is easier then handbrake. If you want to use handbrake i'd suggest you try vidcoder which is a frontend for handbrakes engine that makes it much easier to use (you don't need to install handbrake first).

Just wanted to say thanks to Bryce and Russ for bringing the 3x3 Gazebos and to Mick for the tarp. Without those I don't think the weekend would have been near as enjoyable.

Cheers to everyone that made it out and made it a great weekend. Looking forward to the next. Just have to straighten out the bash plates haha.

When i was washing my car i didnt notice that my bash plates took a hit. But if brodie's and russ's did i think i better look again. now im just looking for some video . . .

How hard do you hit rusty? I've smacked my bashplates plenty of time without incidence of bending.

I'm quite intrigued.

i did hit pretty hard and i got the dirties from the wife lol. im not sure what i hit but it was hard and i did slip into a rut farely quickly.
