Anyone know how they measure ground clearance on a fourby?...I would have thought the diff banjo would be the lowest point but it seems not...for example the Holden Colorado is listed as having 35mm more clearance than a D40 yet the Colorado has underslung rear springs!!.....where do they measure it?

The Colorado also has T-bars up front. Doesn't matter how high the suspening is. As the long why to lift a diff is to fitt bigger wheels. If you look under the front of a stock d40 the front tin plate is a little lower then the read diff. I have lifted my front about 2" and it now sites level. Making the rear diff the lowest point

G'day

Approach Angle = The steepest angle at the front of the Vehicle.
Exit Angle = The steepest angle at the rear of the Vehicle.
Ground Clearance = The biggest "Speed Hump" that could be driven over without touching anything other than the wheels.

P.S. I am probably completely wrong.
