Hi everyone i have a 2009 Nissan Navara D40 Yd25.I was driving it when i ran out of fuel. The car stopped also the battery was not good and it cannot start the car so it needed a jump start.I hardly started it after refueling but the car won’t rev,it has no power, the exhaust produces white and black smoke and when trying to rev the car a noise comes from the car.The car cannot be moved because engine is not powerful enough to start the car.It is an manual transmission please help me i don’t know what to do PS if i turn the car of it cannot turn on and needs a jump start

Firstly, welcome to the forum.

After running out of fuel, your first task is to re-prime the fuel system to remove any air - there's a primer bulb near the fuel filter. Pump (squeeze) that until it gets firm - it should only need 4-5 pumps.

Once the air is out of the system, your car ought to behave normally again if there's been no damage to the fuel pump. Our fuel pumps require diesel to lubricate their internals.

You don't mention where you're located, perhaps someone here might be able to come to your assistance?
