Beginning to lose it 😂😂 D40 2010

AMBER 4x4 light came on not long back, car would start showing 2wd then after 10 mins would jump to 4x4 amber light. Turn off and on again back to showing normal. Truck still operates normal going into 2wd, 4wd, and 4Lo. So I done some research and everything pointed to transmission sensors. Bought all 3 from Milner changed them and changed the fluid at same time. Turns ignition red ATP lights on. Sticks it to drive and 4Lo flashing. Still selecting 2wd, 4wd and 4lo fine. I removed neutral switch from transfer and manually pressed it and ATP disappears and 2wd shows as normal.

Any ideas anyone …….. please ……. I’m begging aha

Just from your description it sounds like the neutral switch isn't being pressed fully. I haven't removed mine from the transfer case, so I don't know if there's any opportunity to adjust them.

However, if it's just coincidental and the problem isn't caused by that switch, it's quite common for the ABS rings in the FRONT wheel bearings to fill with gunk as the bearings start to wear out and throw an error. This is easy to test: find a curve that you can drive safely around in both directions at around 50-60km/h. Open both front windows and drive, listening to the road noise. If the road noise is louder for a left-hand bend, the right side wheel bearing is suspect, check it. Vice versa for the other side.
