Help needed 2013 D40 snorkel

Hi everyone. Hope you can help . Have purchased an ebay snorkel (silly me) that is identical to the Ironman for my new 2013 D40 ST Spanish build. I now find out there are 3 different types of air boxes and the company has only connectors for 2 of them. (Even rung Ironman and they also don't make for the third style) . The snorkel is installed not connected so can't change snorkel for a an original Nissan as I believe the hole is in the wrong place. Any suggestions? If I get a stainless steel connector made up will this work?
By the way yes I am female and no didn't do the work myself.

Hey mate,

This happened to me once when I was working at Ironman..The salesman didn't check and the fitting when ahead with out checking as well… So what I did was source the air box style that I needed from a wrecker and retro fitted it. When we were done it looked factory fitted like it was meant to be there.

Thanks Tim that sounds like a plan but will have to internet it as live in the north west of WA.

I had the same trouble with mine. Ended up customizing it getting a few pieces of pvc down pipe from bunnings and goin nuts with the silicon and tec screws. Worked a treat with no leaks
