gearbox oil leak

have a small leak coming from the end of the gearbox there is a small hole in the side about the middle and oil is dripping out only when i park the car uphill if i park nose down or on the flat it dont happen,its a 2006 d40 spanish build 6 speed manual

The diesel and petrol gearboxes are also different. I'll assume she's a diesel.

There's a breather at the top at the rear, but on the right side of the gearbox just below the middle is the filler plug. Could it be that your plug has fallen out? Is there a thread inside the hole?

no thread ,its only big enough to fit a couple of toothpicks in ,and yes its a diesel ,i will have to take a pick and upload
