Gear knob removal

Hey doing preps for new clutch does anyone know how to remove the gear knob from the lever? Cheers in advance. Woosha

don,t they just un screw ? if not look for a small allen key head down low on the gear knob.

Looks like it on the service manual but she's bloody tight.

I unscrewed the gear knob on my 2007 D40 st-x to remove the console. It's sitting on the passenger seat at the moment as the car is still pulled apart.
