Fuel system air bleeding

Good day all
Hope someone can help, I changed the SCV went for test drive the vehicle went into limp mode again.
I reset the ECU twice doing the accelerated tap dance.
Because I removed fuel lines to do the SCV, thinking air in the system I went to the fuel filter and pushed the black priming knob it was easy to push and didn’t harden.
I pushed it heaps went for drive seemed ok, but would like to get that pump to harden up.

I'm wondering how much resistance you're getting on the primer? Mine is the same model & I've always been able to press mine, it never gets to the point of being too hard to depress it. There is resistance, but I can press it without too much effort.
