Front seats...

I have heard of folks putting in BA Falcon front seats in their D40. Are they able to use the original tracks?? Also has anyone heard of fitting any other type of front seats in one.
Like a Golf or commodore something like that.

These people announced on FB three years ago a seat adapter kit for the D40 but their website only lists the D22. Contact them to see what's going on.

I'm just starting a build on my D40 and before I get stuck in about the engine (either building or replacing), I'm doing the interior and exterior. Starting on the engine next Spring/Summer when I have my car out of storage after winter.

Now, I saw a link on this forum relating to someone who seems to have installed NP300 seats within a D40. There are loads of interiors sitting on eBay from scrap yards from these units, although just wondering if anyone else has looked at doing this?

My alternative is to go and get the existing seats redone and foam modified to make them a bit more snug fitting up front. Are these really a bolt on replacement?
