Noticed oil dripping onto the driveway and it seems to be coming from the front of the engine somewhere. Damn radiator too close to engine to get in there!! Anyone else had any dramas with an oil seal on the front end at all?
Turns out to be front crank oil seal. Hope this is the last of the problems for a while. Sick of spending money on repairs that could be spent on mods.
hey mate i have just done my front crank seal in my 2008 stx d40 last week too. After a week long adventure through Byfield national park, i developed a really bad oil leak when the truck was on. How has yours been since repair? Did yours start after sand work too????
