Hey guys, new to the Forum. Bought my first Nav couple days ago. Having previuosly owned XR8 Utes, needed something i could use at my new job, working on the family farm. Im not new to Fourbys, having previously owned a mildly modded Hilux.
When I was in the market for a new 4x4 Ute to replace my BA XR8 ute, i was initially after a Hilux single cab. Having only used Hiluxs on the Farm, i figured why go against a good thing and began my search. The boxes that needed to be ticked were: a) Single Cab with Steel Tray b) Turbo Diesel and c) low kays. Ideally I was also after something with a few mods that would save me money down the track. Anyway, I soon realised that finding a single cab TD Hilux in my price range (around 16k) that was flogged out was going to be hard to find.
Which brings me to my Nav. I wasnt so sure on them to begin with but after alot of research I found that there was not alot of bad things about them and they definatly compared to Luxs of the same era with a smaller price tag. So I ended up with a 2003 3L TD Single Cab DX. It has an awesome steel tray with toolboxes with a full canvas canopy and STR alloys. Also has a steel bullbar with spotties and a GME UHF.
Future Mods are a 2" Suspension Lift, possibly 2" Body Lift, 31/32 inch muddies, snorkel, Lightforce 240s, canvas seat cover and a turbo timer.
Really looking forward to reading all the information on these forums
