I used to drink a fair bit on fishing trips but I've mellowed, just can't be stuffed doing it anymore. These days unless I was going for more than a few days I doubt I'd even bother with the fridge. The Ice packs are always in the freezer and dropping them in the big blue box along with some food and drinks is just easier than getting the fridge organised because we don't keep the fridge running at all times.
We haven't tested the 15 day thing but we have had the ice packs last for 5 days so far and given the cost was less than $200 for the lot I'd definitely have to think hard if i was ever to replace the fridge.
