Can you weld ? I have never really had to, my brother is a good welder and 1 of my best mates is a boilermaker.

Nah I can't weld nor do I have access too a welder. I'll just send it over during the week while I'm at work..

I just figured the mechanic's would have a welder for fixing things.

I know welding is part of a Heavy Vehicle mechanics Tafe stuff. Just assumed it would be in Light Mechanic to.

I am fortunate enough to be working with a Holden and VW dealer. So it makes us Nissan guys feel okay at time with cars

So 256,000km's and a let down. Sigh.

A gas strut on the ute lid failed. Ordered 2 more from Gaz aka Nizzbits. $48 each.

Oh and I fixed the heat switch and rear demister.

Number 12 fuse was missing, got sick of the rear window fogging up so checked out the wiring diagrams.

Ordered a set of Sax leaf springs and a Northside front mount as I have never been happy with the ASE pipe thru the bullbar mount.
