D40 Tyres

What would be the tallest tyre I could get under a stock D40 without any issues?
Currently has 16 inch which I may keep but like the look of black sunraya so a rim change may be on the cards.

I'd say 265X75X16. Prolly best to stick to the stock Alloy wheels 16's to for that matter. Save some coin to. Nicer ride and less unsprung weight over steelies. Looks is not everything.

I agree, just looking for a bit more ground clearance without a lift.

I have Goodride AT SL369's 215/85 on my standard 6" x 16 rims. I did the Canning Stock Route last year with no problems. I do have the suspension lifted about 45mm.

On my 2012 st I have 265/70/17 On stock rims no problems with them

I'm running 305/70's on the factory STX wheels haha.
