D40 Tray tie down hook alternative CHEAP

Hey all,

Just a cheeky heads up, if you want more tie down points in your D40 tray, the eye bolts from Bunnings are the same thread (M8).

Stronger too. And they are $1.30 each. I took the rails and cleats off mine, sold it all for $200, and spent $20 at Bunnings, now i have better tie down points.

I use the same eye bolts, but use springed strut nuts with the tracks.
your way has the benefit of them being tucked out of the way!

Either is good! You can flog your cleats off for a premium (not sure why people pay so much for them, they are crap), and spend minimal to have better tie down points.

Got rid of my rails too, without cleats, not much point in having them without the rails.
