timing chain
when i looked at it after replacement it was clearly stretched, and had lots of slop in it, guides where well and truly worn out, down to the metal
like i said, i could hear the swishing noise at idle while it was hitting the guides, the noise at idle after i replaced it was very obviously quieter
cost 4k to get done here in perth, thats a dual row kit, replaced the oil pump and did the egr pipe delete as well at the same time
my turbo has been great, but right now i am at 350k, and doing fuel injectors now
keep in mind i have a 2007 spain built rx, with a ton of km's on it, i am thinking this would be normal wear an tear, both timing chain and the injectors, and the solid mass flywheel and clutch i did at 285k (only clutch it has had i think, clutch was almost worn out, but changed cause the flywheel seperated)
