Ok so i had some work done on my d22 which required the removal and reinstall of my torsion bars. The bolts were stripped so they replaced them. All good i thought. But now the car is pulling to the left would the torsion bars be responsible for this at all?

On another note how hard is it to wind up the torsion bars myself, as they didnt reinstate the ride height, it is now scrubbing on the 33's and im going 4wding on saturday.

Its rather simple to crank them back up.
First jack up the front drivera wheel so there is no weight on it. Then the bolt and the rear end of the torsion bar should have two nuts on the top side of it. Crack the top one so its loose. Then crank away. Its a lot of work for little adjustment so make sure you have an icy beer on hand for when you are done.

take it back and get the knobs to put it right, and they'll need to do an alignment as well.

Its not hard to adjust the height yourself all you need is a couple of 19mm spanners (i think) a quick search will bring up the method of doing this.

Also any adjustment in height require a wheel alignment.

no no wheel alignment i believe, im thinking they should have done this before giving it back as part of the service, i will be going there asap, just makes it hard going this coming saturday and needing it done before then. Thanks for the info guys, ill keep you up to date!

If they be nobs about it Aaron bring it round n I'll wind em up for ya.. Mine needs massive wheel alignment aswell.. Steering wheel sits to the left when driving straight :-/

sweet as, might have to if they are dicks about it. My wheel alignment isnt too bad just pulls to the left. just got to try and fix the ride height
