Must be you fella no need to be so kranky, no I seldom drink and when I do it is one and I am the designated driver. And sadly this topic is off again.

Ok back on track- ctek good units !
 
Didn't even think about that, probably a good chance it getting that hot in the engine bay in summer.

glennm have you have any temperature related issues?

Woody no issues thus far with heat after around 4 years if memory serves me.
ctek i believe are rated as waterproof other than high pressure sprayer. i have 2 cteks which work great. no photos to post as the kids had the ute all weekend. ctek should be close to the battery as far as i know.
 
Well that got a bit off track, but all in all thanks for the input. I think I'll give one a go in the engine bay. Looks like it's on the list for next month but
