what engine do you have ?Hello guys.
This is real. After an oil and oil filter change the technician moved this hose he did not see it. I continued driving for at least 500km like everything was normal and sometime in parking lot, I've noticed a little bit of coolant on the floor. I checked the coolant level (reservoir) and everything looks like good. After 3 days I've checked with a flashlight and the hose was making contact with a pulley.
I lost a little bit of coolant (fortunately). I took the truck to mechanic and he told me... "your engine almost die".
I spend 300usd: new coolant, hours of mechanic and the hose spare.
Other technician told me that there is a factory issue, he doesn't think it was because of the oil change. There is a screw or bolt that loosens with vibrations and daily handling
Also there is a recall for some countries, not in my country .

Just found your radiator hose recall notice. Just checking it was issued in England?YS23 diesel engine. 2019
Manual states cooling system holds 11 Litre. Got 7.5L in easily took some work to get trapped air out and remaining 2.5 litre in. On D23 there is an air bleed at back top of tappet cover in metal pipe with 10mm metal head bolt. On engine firewall on LHS is a plastic plug with 5mm hex key hole to bleed air line to heater. Mine was stripped and unable to remove. In end had to remove 19mm heater hose at that point to get more air out. Had friend start and stop engine with hose off. A few long runs to get everything hot and remaining air did come out. All stable and good now.Just found your radiator hose recall notice. Just checking it was issued in England?
I also have a 2015 NP300 D23 engine in Australia. Bottom hose just blew by rubbing on air conditioner pulley! Just checked, no recall issued in Australia for this issue on my vehicle.
