Can anyone who has 'modified' I.e attacked with grinder their coil bucket please show some pictures of what they did?

My truck has started hitting lately largely due to my adjustments on the bash plates I have which we're stopping only just the arms coming down and hitting the coil bucket.

Other then new arms I'm lead to believe this is my only option?
Please any help is greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Mick

Some have been known to "adjust" the UCA with a grinder .
In short you have 2 choices
Lower the truck slightly or new arms .
I have the PRG UCA on mine so I could adjust my camber. Your welcome to have a look to see if you want to go down that route.
Any of the after market UCA will avoid the coil bucket contact issue as far as am aware. I chose the PRG as for many years they were the only adjustable arms. The SPC arms will also adjust and avoid contact

Or another solution I just found was installing a bump stop

Thanks for that Aussie. How much were they when you bought yours?

I don't think I'll be lowering it as I have spacers and I'm no longer going to the guys who put them in.

Do new arms need to be engineered???

To get the UCA,Coilovers and wheels was about $800
He also made note of the rear lift blocks just to be safe but have since taken them out and put in new springs and rear shocks
Springs and shocks dont need it but using after market suspension arms or coilovers require inspection. Wheels actually should be done if you change from stock as well
