Cable Driven Speedo to Electric Speedo

Hey Guys,

I was just reading a d21 terano build thread and it was mentioned that they move to electric speedos around 1993~ish.

If this is the case, would it be possible to convert the d21s cable driven speed to electric using the trano gearbox sender and dash.

Proberly should find out if a terano dash bolts in, has anyone tried this before?

Yeah I converted my D22 transmission the other way, electronic to cable driven, so there's no reason you shouldn't be able to convert to electronic, but you'll run into other incompatibilities with the rest of the later model cluster, plug shapes, tacho not working etc.
