Cab movement

Hi Guys
Have added a fishing rod tube to my tray dual cab.
Fitted snug, miscalculation forgot the rise in floor.
Gap is about 3mm I say.
Question will the cab hit the tube with the cab movement.

Tube is off, I just could see paint coming off.
Shame was one of my better ideas and job.
On the back it goes.
