Hey everybody!
I'm looking at doing some much needed maintenance in the ol' girl and one of the thing is to recon the front brake calipers with new seals and a good old fashioned cleanup. While replacing my front brake pads earlier in the year I noticed te drivers side caliper was pretty stiff and I was pretty sure it had seized a bit. And even now I can sometime feel (and hear) it shudder through the pedal as though it's struggling to move the pistons. So, I'm going to give them a birthday!
It's a job that I'd much prefer to do myself, so I learn a bit more about the brakes, and I enjoy the manual labour side of it. Purchasing new calipers is a last resort.
So after that super-long winded explanation, who know where I can get a seal/recon kit from?
