Bonnet struts! 😃

Finally installed some bonnet struts that iv been meaning to do for a while now. I used vt commodore struts from ebay. And ball stud bolts from bursons to attach to the bonnet. Then just used an existing bolt on the guard on both sides.

Nice work. Are the holes in the bonnet. Or did you need to tap them.

Just had to drill holes in the bonnet for the bolt to go through. Then tapped a nut to the end of my finger and put it through that hole thats already in the bonnet and spun it off lol

Can anyone tell me what the bottom mount looks like to mount to the guard? Pics would be good I've got the struts just need to work out the mounting.

I just bought a cheap pair off eBay. The struts were terrible barely help up my bonnet. I then replaces struts. The place that sold me struts said that is usually what most do to get the brackets.
