Alloy Spare Tyre

Just wondering if a genuine Nissan alloy wheel will fit the spare wheel mounting bracket instead of the steel wheel.

I have a 2011 D22 Dual Cab

The chain fits through the centre hole so you can hang just about any wheel under there.

I wanted do this, but I was a bit concerned the alloy may rub on the steel of the clamp. or am I worried about nothing

chain bracket fits on the back face of the wheel so won't scratch the alloy and the tyre sidewall pulls up against the chassis so no worries alround.

Thanks for that, I figured if it was tight it shouldn,t be a problem,

If for some reason you have to face the alloy down, just use a bit a bit of rubber where the chain plate meets the alloy.
