I don't think any setup on these can get useable wheel travel lol. A locker is the only way to get past the lack of wheel travel. Either that or SAS

So you think the Uca's are useless? Rather go the body lift And a bigger tyre? As it is I an 10
Mm from
The bump stop. I'd like the to extend..

UCA's are good with a 2" lift as they give you a fair bit more down travel in the front. I think mine has about an 1" gap from the top bump stop which makes it handle a bit better having the extra room. When I had the 3" lift in I was lifting front wheels going around round abouts because there was stuff all down travel.

Yeah that's the plan. Out Uca's in but leave it at 2 inch lift!

For a bit more down travel in the rear you could take the retaining clip bolts out to let the springs stretch out a bit more. Ive done it and havent had any troubles yet. It give you another 3-4" of down travel

Yeah im going to have a look at doing some mods to my leaf pack. UCA's will be going in soon, just have to paint them. And front lokka is 100% on the to buy list now.

The proper pin locked drop shackles will give you more useable down travel and will help with down travel traction. by dropping the spring you release some of the load so you need less force on the wheel to get tracyion. how much more downtravel traction you get is debatable but there is a small advantage to be gained using them. they are illegal just like extended shackles in qld dont know bout the rest of the country but then again so are the uca's. i know it doesnt worry a lot of people myself included bit just thought id pit it in there for those that do care

mmm i understand what your saying.

Guess you have to way up the costs for how much they offer also. Superior engineering want $600 bucks for theirs. Then add on longer shocks as im guessing you would want longer then 2" lift ones, plus possibly brake lines.

Much more effective and costs less to add a lokka.

I have 3" in mine and UCA's and the ride is great. I'm running Dobinsons as well and couldn't happier with them.

You have the extra weight up front to soften it up Abit too...

I so want to buy the whole 3" calamini kit but dont want a truck that rides like a brick. there cheap from the usa but if its a terrible ride you mos well of just bought the ucas cause now you have a set of leafs that are useless :-X

Do you remember what the dobinson kit was worth. i do like dobinson gear but really wanted a touch over 2" to try and not have to body lift

at 2000 without uca's it makes me wanna be a tightwad and buy the calamini cause its nearly 500 cheaper and includes the uca's :/

but still without uca's.
think it worked out to be just over 1500 for the whole setup posted when the dollar was high.
still dont want a ruff ride but lol

I'm waitin on the dollar now, not
It that much of a rush for Uca's
