I am looking at getting my D40 lifted in a few weeks but I am unsure of what kit to go for. I have been looking at the radflo PGR kits from the states. They look great but I am after a comfortable ride as I am mostly on tarmac and not always 4WDing.
Not under load ever only towing my 750kg boat and ARB bar on the front.
I really want a little more height out of it as well as I see most 50mm kits really only sitting at the 40mm mark which seems hardly worth it to me.

Are the radflo kits good to drive on? Either looking at one of these radflo kits or tough dog kit.

Monster rides on here has or had a set new , here in aus from a customer that had sold his D40 before the arrived , check out his add in advertizing section , he might still have them if your lucky , and at a big saving too !!

Also i have a tough dog lift , iam happy , and was happier when it was fitted , its dropped 15 mm , but still is 50 , was 65 when fitted

I ran Old Man Emu suspension for a year thinking that the lift would be ok, but the truck was still low, I then switched to PRG and was very happy, ride is also much smoother than OME.

One note: I gave my OME suspension to my dad, he has a two door Nav, and he's gained a tad more lift than OME made for my 4 door, however, ride is much stiffer than PRG's kit.

I had tough dog lift in my old D40 and it was really good. But I'm getting a set of Radflo struts when I get around to lifting my new one.

Get Rads. You can order the Eibachs in 50lb increments and they are custom valved for the spring rating which is one of the most important things for comfort and longevity of the shock. Most brands will be a generic valving no matter what spring you pair it LD, MD, HD. Plus theyre rebuidable for minimal cost.

I have the radflo's but am having problems with them topping out all the time on the road. ???
