Looking to get the clutch changed in my 2013 D22 YD25 2.5L 4x4 (Australian, Thai Built model) and wondering if I should buy a kit with a new flywheel at the same time as I wouldn't want to pay to open the gearbox up twice. Its done 230k kms and the clutch is pretty worn.

My question is; do the late D22s have dual mass or single mass flywheels - will replace if its a DMF but not if its an SMF? Really no definitive answer anywhere online for the late model D22s.

Thanks in advance,
Sam

Dunno about the Thai D22 but I'm fairly sure after about mid 2011 all Thai built D40's had SMF.

As far as I know, all D22's had a single mass flywheel. Had a look through the manual and it only shows the one type, normal single mass flywheel.

ps. For smf usually all you will need is a quick skim, a brake repair place can usually do it.
