Afternoon everyone.

Just before xmas my navara started to struggle to start, i replaced the glow plugs and the glow relay as i have fualt code p0380. After this, the engine light and fualt code still remained when i cleared them off but the truck started fine so i just left i . Fast foward to about 2 weeks ago and when i turn the truck over, it wont start (on a rare occasion when i pump the fuel bulb it will start, not always tho) but it turns over it also throws out loads of white smoke form the exhuast and form what looks like the turbo i may be wrong. I put it down to a dodgey injector possibly so i cleaned them with carb cleaner yesterday then it started straight away. Tried it this morning and it wont start again, it just turns over and spits white smoke. I cant even start it to get it to a garage. If anyone has any ideas id love to hear them as i want to try fix it myselfe

Has someone stuffed something up the exhaust pipe? It shouldn't smoke like that in the engine bay ever - it looks like a serious exhaust leak if it is. Does the smoke smell like burning wiring or like diesel?

After several hours of it just sitting there, how many pumps of the primer does it take to make it firm? It shouldn't take more than 5-6 pumps before it's considerably firmer.

Is there any sign of damage to the EGR tube that comes off the exhaust at the manifold (near the rear of the motor, the gold tube runs forward and around the front)?
