2008 D40 STX V6 Gas conversion

Does anyone know if this has been done yet as I understand from GASPOWER in Perth that there is an ongoing problem with the Converter and until that is resolved THEY cant do it.

afaik they have been done. no problems with convertors, the big problem that i've heard of is they keep blowing pistons due to lack of cooling from the fuel.
someone commented on onther forum that a lot of places refuse to due them due to that.

If I install a drip-feed system with Upper Cylinder Lubricant (Lead replacement) then wouldnt that stop the cylinders being damaged, do you think?

If what tweak'e says is correct then upper cylinder lubricant probably wouldn't cool the cylinders sufficiently to prevent melting holes in the pistons.

someone was looking into the vogas system which runs petrol and lpg and the same time. that may work but most likly not a cheap system.
