2006 and 2012 chassis difference

Is there a difference from the 2006 chassis and the 2012, I got a bull bar from an 06 d22 TD30, and am wondering if it will fit an 2012 D22.

Spoke to Nissan yesterday and was told that 04 2009 onwards are series 5 models and the part number I had for the bar would not fit as there was a change to chassis in the series 5. So got to get rid of this and get one that suits. most people I spoke to about the bars were of the opinion it would fit as the body is the same but nope.
