Spoke with zordo today and decided il go with one of his kits. Now just need to save the pennies to pay for it lol

why is that zordo?

Ironman pins are actually machined & EFs pins are pressed steel.
Ironman bushes are grooved on all surfaces to retain grease

This is an old subject and I am stuck. I have a efs comfort kit already and have spoken to zordo and given numerous options about upgrading my suspension. I'm looking to do more touring and camping then just hardcore offroading so my needs have changed. as I said before I have efs comfort kit already and I am happy with it and would go them again anyway. What I am asking is I have a canopy and will soon have a dual battery system installed in the tray so a guess of another 40kg in the tub that not including camping gear fridge esky etc etc. My options are

1. Install new efs hd springs and might aswell get rancho shocks aswell
2. Keep the comfort and add extra leaf to pack making it a hd kit and also install rancho
3. Keep comforts and install ironman loss helper springs and install rancho. This setup retaining the comfort but giving me the ability to unbolt the helper if not needed.

Are hd springs really that bad at flexing? I guess if every where I go I will have some sort of load ie. Thei canopy , dual battery and some gear. They should still move alright. But once unloaded they may be a little rough or may the rancho soften it some more?

na HD will flex just fine, there is very little difference in flex, saw it tested once, same brand hd vs comfort and it was only like 5-10mm difference.
Just put a locker in a front and it won't matter how much flex you have, you'll still go forward.

thanks Al. you have the HD kit yeh? how much in constant weight do you have in the back? as little as just the dual battery and a couple of milk crates with some tools and oil in them, plus the canopy weight. i just dont want the wife getting the shits cause its now to rough on road etc. thats why i was just thinking about the ironman load helper kits so i can just unbolt it after a long trip or even wind it back. in saying that i want to get this done right the first time cause we all know how women are.

somedays i have nothing in the rear and i don't have a problem with its ride. Thats said i come from years of driving cab chassis utes with alloy trays. But i have the heavy duty springs as during the week i'd have at least 200kg-400kg depending on the day.
