16 x 7 steel rims. What off-set ?

Hey folks. I'm asking this on behalf of a mate. I used to have 16x8 steel rims, with 20+ off-set. Mate now wants 16x7 to prevent rubbing, but I'm not sure whether the off-set needed is the same as 16x8 ? Anyone running or has experience with 16x7 ?

Buy The 3steel factory str spares i have, must be The correct offset as they come with d22 str navs, and them paint them whatever colour you want, with his own spare it makes a full set.. Lol

I had dynamic brand steel wheels with a +28 that worked well.

I've got -13 16x7 and 265/70/16 AT's they rub but not too badly. My suspension is stock and slightly sagged If I took the mud flap and guard liner off they'd be right as rain.

What offset and what brand did he get do you know, im strugling to find a brand that will do a +20 offset in a 16x8

Every tyre shop I spoke to recently when getting prices said +20 is the standard offset in a 16 x 8. 16 x 7 will be either a +28 or +13 I found.

Dynamic, csa are definitely +20
