Hey all new to the site but just need to know if anyone has had any problems with brake lines, bull bar or motor issues when doing a body lift. Also is it better i use nolythane or metal?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

no issues with a 1" body lift at all other than lifting front and rear bars.
i used nylon bar stock and made the kit myself, only issue was the rear cab bolts have a metric fine captive nut and i couldnt buy fine bolts that long, ended up buying longer coarse grade 8.8's and cutting a fine thred on them.
the nylon was legal and engineered in tas but i know in some states it wont pass so best to check with the local transport department.

I'm in Qld and have a 09 d22. Installing a 30mm bodylift soon from zordos(john). Comes with all volts etc to do the install including directions. I have 2" suspension and didn't want it overly high cause the wife wouldn't be able to get in.

nah mate, everything has more than enough play in it to accommodate a 2" suspension lift and a 2" body lift with out needing to extend anything. you will have to cut off the bottom of the radiator fan cowling and "extend" the steering shaft, but thats' just a matter of undoing the jointer and sliding it out to where it's gotta go.

give ZORDO a call and he'll supply both the lift kit and instructions. he'll even fit it if you're lazy (like me)

hey how do you get to the captive nut on the rear cab bolt i had a quick look but couldnt find anything . do you have to pull the rear seat out ???

You can't get the nut out unless you cut open the floor pan. Same as for the nuts under the B pillars. I bad one nut under the B pillar spin in the cage when i did my lift. Its not too much trouble to get to if you don't mind carving up the floor. Why do you need to get to them? Is one of the nuts spinning in the cage?

nah after i bought the nav i went to body lift it and the bolt was missing for the passenger rear cab mount. the bolt sheared so i need to replace the nut
