Just found some info on another site and it appears the larger cheaper Z9 oil filter will fit the D40.Has anyonedone this,can they confirm the 40mm height increse will be ok.

Pete that water monitor set up are deadly in going off on presence of water. However from removal,i believe a completly different ball game.Ive just researched these bypass filters/toilet rolls and the paper filter of there size can absorb up 1/2 a litre of water mixed in to the fuel like a milk...

Wondering how other D40 2.5lt ,Turbo enthusiast are fairing regarding MILAGE. How many kilometers has yours achieved without rebuild.wondering if anyone can beat 200,000 on a 2007 ST-x Auto?? I know these are a new motors.:rambo:

Thanx for that either way she,s a going in. What oil you running in yours and how often change etc. Motor done 180k.A very HARD 180 K Ran Nulon 5 w 30. Changed no latta than 10k.Still reccommend oil. Anyone got over 250k on theres or still to early a model These seem like the go next time...

Ive a blown Spain turbo diesel motor in my 2007 D40 dual cab. Will the 2011 Thai motor work in mine with computer etc and are horsepower figures the same??. Thankyou inadvance Ash

My stx 07 d40 auto(spain) ,motor has blown..will a thai 2011 work with the spain management system etc. Are the power outputs the same?? Thankyou in advance
