Quite some years ago, we upgraded our suspension (springs and shocks) from the factory ones to Dakar springs (HD up front, dual rate on the rear) and Nitrocharger Sports shocks. They're still great, still work perfectly.
Consider dual rate (if possible) if you change from unloaded to heavy load (eg towing) - it really does make a significant difference.
