YD25 Intercooler on ZD30?

Woooooo!
Long time reader, first time poster..
Mostly coz only picked up the D22 ZD30 dual cab last week.
Already starting with the mods.
EGR blocker on order, ebay, love ya.
Will sort out vac hoses/swirl/butterfly thanks to the incredible pics on how to.
Turbo timer received and will chuck her in on weekend.
Hooking up double din gps/DVD, thanks Nissan for making that easy as pie.
Reverse cam too.
Will probs grab catch can also.

Question is though, brand new motor, brand new turbo.
Turbo spun a bearing into the motor, bang.
Last guy got it all replaced, had only done 105,000kms.

I don't want this to happen.
All intercooler kits seem very expensive and I'm not a money bags but I don't want something useless.

Can I get an intercooler from YD25 (newer d22's) and connect it up easy but also, would this be sufficient?

I mostly just don't wanna blow the motor, so it's like a motor condom.

Any thoughts guys?

I doubt you will fit it above the engine.

Maybe with a bodylift.

Yeah I have seen the modded xr6 one and that's sick.
I don't really wanna have to go all out and smash together something crazy but..
What do ya's think about yd25 intercooler as a front mount and a little bit of plumbing?
Not as easy as it sounds?

what about one of a smashed up troll? made for the zd motor fits to one side?

Yeah thought about a smashed up troll cooler on it but had heard stories about the trolls with cracked heads and cooler probs.
I don't know how true that was though, do we know anyone that's tried this?

cracked pistons due to high exaust gas temps? thats all over this site as warning to zd owners lol

in uk after 2004 i believe the zd is safe from dreaded piston wory,id asume/hope itd be a worldwide fix?
i was thinking of doing it and using the trolls intake manifold etc

Standard Niisan intercooler's are shit.

The tanks always leak after 60,000km's.
