Hi,

My first post here looking for suggestions for my V6 3.0 diesel Pathfinder 2011 year.
We have really rainy season lately and I waded some floods yesterday with ease. Some 30-40 cm deep at most, and I went properly, not like crazy.
Then haur later I attacker a hill and going back down steep slope I tested downhill assist feature, which did not seem to have an option to control acsending speed. Maybe I need to study it more.

And thet day I had near empty gas tank, but not so low to trigger gas low warning lamp.

Then it happened, just when I finished steep downhill with down assist in 4LO:
Engine shut off.

No chance to start it back, starter is working, but does not start, and dash is like christmass tree, all lights on.

Hmmm, let's scan with OBD for DTC... I know day before there were no DTC, but now I get all these below.

What do you think could be main cause?
  • Water in fuel, as fuel fill hose is damaged under rear wheel well and fuel leaks if I top it up to max. Maybe watter mixed with low fuel level when I was driving throigh floods?
  • Air in fuel, as I had near empty tank, but not down to warning level
  • Water messed up some sensor or connector when I was driving through the floods
  • Downhill assist system malfunctiom, as this happened right after I swithed it off
DTCs detected:
  1. P2293 Fuel pressure regulator 2
  2. P0089 Fuel Pressure Regulator 1
  3. P0089 Fuel Pressure Regulator 1
  4. P2293 Fuel pressure regulator 2
  5. P0571(62) Test failed, Cruise control/brake switch A - circuit malfunction
  6. P0089(F1) Test failed, Fuel pressure regulator 1 - performance problem
