VDC and traction control light

I’ve had my 2014 d40 for about a month brought it in pretty good condition but for the past week or so after about 10 - 20 mins of driving my vdc and traction control light come on and just stay on now I drive mainly on roads not a lot of dirt at the moment but I can’t seem to figure out what’s the cause does anyone know what it might be?

Abs wire is my guess.
Either front - grey plug on the top side of the strut tower
Or rear, plug inside the chassis rail on both side, near inline with the wheel.

They are either dirty, dirty and wet
Or you've broken one off the very thin wires.
Run your eyes (and hands) over the plug and wiring
