upper front Shock mounting hole

So l went under the slug to replace a flogged out upper shock mount and l noticed that the hole it goes through is like two holes together looking like a figure 8, is this correct?

no never seen a shockie mount with this 8 shaped bush hole. should be O .

Some fatter shocks can be a tight fit. Previous orangutang probably drilled it.

yeah, thought it was odd, might need to replace them as the shock slips between the two holes on braking. some people should need to apply for a license for power tools l swear!
