turbo charging 3.0 V6 d22?

was just wondering weather anyone on here has turbo charged a 3.0 v6 D22?
im starting a project D22 2001, i want to know if its worth doing it myself or do a conversion?

It would be easy as Nissan already make a version off that engine with a turbo, even twin turbos
