Tow bar swap

hey guys,
can a d22 dx towbar bolt up to a d22 str?? looks as if the dx towbar sits up abit higher.

Yep, if you have removed the step. Also, someone else has a few pics on here of mounting the towbar from the top of the chassis instead of the bottom, raises it up a lot more. I will be looking at doing this when I get a towbar eventually, lol. I'll see if I can find the thread

Its the slip in "angle iron" support gussets in the flimsy chassis rails that will need to be repositioned and the mounting holes relocated in order for that mod to happen
