Tight Tonneau

HI all, I have a genuine tonneau fitted and haven't had it on for ages and it has shrunk. It's the one with the sits on top with the long clips mounted to the top of the tub, ie. no straps involved.

I cannot stretch it enough to get it back on, sides are OK but can't fasten the back.

Any ideas how I can stretch it?

I haven't used one of these covers, but the first thing that came to my mind was the position of the tailgate - has it shifted outwards a little?

I did wonder the same thing but when trying to attach it, one hand is on the tailgate pushing it forward and the other pulling the cover so I don't think that is the case. That said I will have a closer look.
