No worries. Nice to meet you guys.
Reasonably undamaged, dinged the sidestep when we first got there in that creek but I'll be taking them off this week and starting to plan to build some sliders for it and the bash plate is a little out of shape but thats what its there for!

Sorry I didnt hang around longer either the wife decided today fourbing isnt her thing, haha oh well.

Was great to meet all of you guys yesterday. Willpost up pics and video when I get them edited and uploaded.

Had a fantastic day and my mate Ben had too. Will probably come along to the next trip as well.
Now all we need is for him to buy a Nav (D40 of course, who needs front lockers anyway? ).

Managed to escape most of the damage apart from the usual D40 sidesteps being worth pish all when bouncing off rocks etc. Noticed both sides a bit loose today.
Looks like rock sliders are on the wish list now as well. After the winchbar, bash plates and 2" suspension upgrade

Yep, we had a ball on Saturday, although in its current state I'd be stuffed if I know how you would get a camper trailer into the park, :sarcastic:

Great to meet some new faces, sorry we had to head off after lunch on Saturday, I was really royally shagged after the week I had, and an unplanned late Friday night. Looked under Navvy today, cleaned out the mud and crap, no dings, that loud crunch when crossing the rocks before the twin hills was just a cross member dropping onto the rocks.

But yes, bash plates and rear diff protector, and proper rock sliders have made their way to the top of the shopping list. Mate across the road came over today as I was cleaning the Nav, and said he wouldn't be interested in doing the sort of driving we did, but he owns a Prado Grande, poof.

Lots of photos and vids to post up, probably on youtube/photobucket.

Landcruiser Park next?

Was good seeing everyone again :cheers!: and reckon I'm having another trip back there cause we got nowhere near seeing enough of the Park on that Saturday

Was really interesting seeing Joe's front locker helping him up a hill that 3 others of us couldn't get all the way up (hope someone got a video of Joe's run up that hill cause it was a really good effort!)

Time for a few pics....

down back to tour track 3 and a rather interesting creek crossing. A good 80-100cm ledge on the approach made things a little more interesting

That was a great weekend, wish they had a few more tracks open.
Camping was good too, a few cold beverages, a fire and a clear night sky.
How was the rest of Sunday?

Great to meet everyone. Wish I could have stayed for longer and played a bit more. Some wasome pics too....very jealous.

Will be keen to go go out again.

Cheers

Ok, I'll start putting some piccies up here like Luke has, (have around 35), and also on the QNOG site, and the vids will go on youtube like last time. Got some great shots of Ben in his Triton, and Al in "the hole" :)
