Just a few from teh trip in the middle of the year:

#1 - Top of Big Red.
#2 - Halfway across the QLD/SA border on the way out to Big Red
#3 - Some on the Birdsville Track (stopped for a pee break)
#4 - Bottom of Lake Eyre. Yes, that is the lake in the distance.
#5 - Halfway across the NT/QLD border in the Plenty Hwy.

True enough. I can't help what they called it though. It is the Telegherry River, passes across Middle Road right in the middle of this map.

It's still a lovely place.

Went for a but of a look around yesterday, tried to get over to five rocks, but the sand was über soft and there was a massive lineup of far-more powerful vehicles trying and failing, so I settled for going back to yeppoon and then up to sandy point.

Up the five rocks area is nice, especially on stockyard point where you can drive right out. Nine mile beach is good for a cruise on, though i'm told that three rivers is alot harder to get in and out of.

Iwasaki's is also good, off the bangalee access and up to the point at the entrance of corio. I'm guessing that is the second piccie?

Haha, a lot of that is gibberish to me. I only just moved here and don't know any of those places. Both those pics are taken off the bangalee beach entrance. Got on the beach there and cruised north till we got to sandy point. Hung around there then headed back.

We should organize a CQ meetup.
